  1. Such a lovely simple post! I walk in the fresh air with open skies. That’s what I do, no matter what the weather it helps me feel human again :O)

  2. slpmartin says:

    Write poetry. 🙂

  3. Gary Lum says:

I cook and then blog to unwind.

  4. I crochet. Not only does it help me relax and forget everything else in the world, but I always end up with something beautiful to give away to family and friends.

  5. bibuji says:

Unwind, a nice expression…indeed we are often wound up so tightly in daily life. Have a good unwinding!

  6. rich says:

sex with random strangers. not really. okay, tennis. same thing though.

  7. Dirk says:

That’s a great way to unwind. I know a lot of times when we get wound up and stressed, we get there by being complicated in our minds about stuff and we start thinking things like, “if I don’t get this done, my day is going to get screwed up and everyone will be mad at me.” We may think things like that, but it is usually not true. We are just “Caught in the moment,” of stress and negative thinking.

I personally know that when I become that kind of complicated I tend to get out of touch with life, and out of reality. BUT… when I remember the people I love, and the beautiful things of life that I’m grateful for, it brings me back to what’s REAL and what’s TRUE and what REALLY matters. There’s a certain simplicity in that which is really unwinding. It shows that reality is beautiful and simple.
